Pioneer Updates

Had a fantastic first day at Pioneer. Enjoyed some time in the sun and got stuck into our first activities including abseiling, high ropes, archery and fencing. More photos to follow......

Hi everyone, we've all arrived safely and are just settling in!!!

Stourbridge Tennis Competition

Today we took part in the Stourbridge Tennis competition and all had a fabulous morning! As we had lots of talented tennis players, we were able to take three mixed teams:

Team A- Matty Ashton, Beth and Chloe.

Team B- Jack, Harry E, Gabby and Isla.

Team C- Jacob, Will W, Hannah and Charlotte G.

Thank you to our reserves too- Abbie C, Harry H, Will C and Henry.

All the children showcased all of their fantastic skills which they have developed in P.E and the tennis club for the ones who attended. They represented the school brilliantly too! We are delighted to announce that Team A won the whole competition and are now through to the Level 3 Black Country Finals!

Well done to all of our fantastic tennis stars- we are so proud of you.

Tri-Golf Competition

10 children from year 3 and 4 took part in an exciting tri-golf competition at Windsor High School.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to practise and apply their skills which they had developed in a tri-golf club on a Wednesday and from their P.E lessons.

It was a brilliant team effort and we are excited to announce that they came 4th place!

Well done to all involved.

Royal Wedding Party

This afternoon we had a fabulous time celebrating the Royal Wedding with our own party and games!! Check out our photo's below!!

Google Assembly

On Friday morning, years 2, 4, 5 and 6 attended an assembly presented by Google and Parent Zone, on all aspects of internet awareness.

We were also joined by Margot James, the MP for Stourbridge, who is the minister of State for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, which includes internet safety - and she found the session valuable too!!

We learned about the importance of having strong passwords and not sharing them, of logging off properly to protect our information, and also to be as kind on-line as we would off line.

The children had a very informative and interactive time at this fantastic assembly. Thank you Google!!
